One-Act Play Festival
|Monday 3rd July, 2017 to Friday 7th July, 2017|
|Sunday 9th July, 2017|
The near-legendary Partington Theatre One Act Play Festival now in its 24th year. Not to be missed!
Please note – this year there will be no performances on the Saturday night. Instead the festival will run from Monday to Friday, with the final performance(s) and awards ceremony on the Sunday night.
Come and enjoy a great week of One-Act plays. Each evening there will be 2 or 3 short plays with a short critique by guest adjudicator Carmel Bird of G.M.D.F. at the end of the evening.
The theatre bar opens at 7 0’clock and the curtain goes up at 7.30 each evening. Every night a different programme of very varied one-act plays presented by theatre groups from all over the area and beyond. New writing rubs shoulders with famous classics. Lots to talk about! Our guest expert Carmel Bird will sum up the week and hand out certificates and silverware after the final play on Sunday night.
Tickets cost just £3 per evening or £10 for a bargain festival ticket covering all 5 evenings. Tickets can be purchased at the theatre bar or just come along and pay on the night (unreserved seating).
